My feed is overflowing with home decor content, and it seems like every other day people are replacing perfectly good rugs, curtains, light fixtures, faucets, furniture, etc. I am definitely guilty of getting a new vase (ok, 10) or a pretty seasonal trinket here and there - but most of the core elements in my home, are things I’ve had for years and years. My mother always taught me to buy once and buy good. So that’s what I do. I research, and save until I can buy the best quality I can for major purchases that will be classic and timeless. It’s easy to swap out dish towels, vases, seasonal florals, etc. but big ticket items are something I want to make sure I’ll love for 10+ years. And you know how I can tell that I chose correctly? My counter stools & pendant lights are still available and haven’t been discontinued after a decade. candles reels cottagecore facebookreels cozyhome woodsandwhites cottagestyle modernfarmhouse cottagestyle candleaddiction kitchen kitchenlove whitecabinets kitchendesign potterybarn stools counterstools potterybarnhome chairs lighting
