Deck Remodel 🔅 ⸻ Modern Deck Refresh — All DIY & Under $1,000! Who says you need a big budget (or a contractor) to love your outdoor space? We completely updated our deck with a fresh, modern look — all for under $1,000 and entirely DIY. We: • Sanded + restained the decking for a cleaner finish and added rustoleum Rock Solid paint • Painted our existing railings a crisp black using exterior paint from Lowe’s (so much cheaper than replacing them!) • Built in a seating area and repainted and cushioned the space • Layered in cozy, affordable outdoor rugs + lighting • Sanded and stained the stairs and added support underneathh Everything was done with a few days of work, a few power tools, and lots of coffee.
