I lost my phone this past recently. Anybody who has lost their phone knows this 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜.

I am lucky enough to have a very tech savvy husband and he took all steps needed to get it located.

However the location where it was… was closed. There was no way to get in and I had to wait. Wait to see if anyone else would find it. Would they turn it in? Could I get there in time to get it back? So many things going through my head.
It was 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜. Including feeling sick.

I had everything on that phone. My kids pictures. The last texts my son sent to me. My life.

Those feelings are real. A lot of people feel these feelings and emotions “𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐲”. Whether it’s losing a phone, getting on a plane, having to talk to people or just simply facing the day. My heart hurts for those who live with this daily.

The place where I left it was incredible. They called the next morning and wanted to let me know they found it.
I felt such a sense of relief. A lot of people don’t get to feel this. It’s an 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞.

When this place called, they actually started describing my phone case and telling me how neat it was. Not just the design but features. It made me smile they would even take the time to tell me how much they liked my case.

I have not wanted to “advertise” anything since we lost our son. It’s just been hard. I work with amazing companies that have all been so kind and understanding during this time.
