What I'd wear to kids sports. Three hours on a sideline, and I still want to look like I got dressed.

The whole outfit is built around one thing: you are going to be outside, standing, carrying things, and cold by the third quarter. So the jacket is a shirt jacket — light enough for a 75° kickoff, warm enough for the 5pm shade — and the pant is black straight denim, because grass stains and folding chairs are real.

They're not identical and I won't pretend they are. Look closely and the Zara has a cleaner shoulder and a slightly more structured collar — the Amazon version sits a little softer and the sleeve is roomier through the arm.

But the details that make this jacket work are on both: the funnel neck that stands up on its own, the off-centre zip, the elasticated hem that gives it the cropped, blousy shape. That silhouette is the whole point, and the Amazon one delivers it.
