This is what I actually wear: – relaxed fits – straight leg cargos – unisex energy – comfort > everything If it feels restrictive, I’m not interested. This sweater? Not my usual (not a natural fiber), but it was that good I bought it twice— and grabbed this red one on clearance without hesitation. I grabbed this from American Tall in my usual size (M Tall) and I have thoughts.

For reference:
6’3” | 36” inseam | almost 40 | typically M Tall in tops

Fit:
✔️ Shoulders + chest fit pretty true to size (rare win)
✔️ Length works (no surprise there)
✔️ Floaty, boho feel — very easy to style

But…
😬 It’s VERY sheer
😬 Noticing quite a few unfinished threads
😬 Questioning how this holds up after a few washes

I fully questioned myself grabbing these, not gonna lie. But the square toe + subtle Mary Jane style on these Dolce Vita flats pulled me in—and they did not disappoint.
A few notes if you’re considering:
• I’m a true 11 and these fit true to size (don’t size down like reviews suggest)
• There is a little space at the toe—more of an almond/square shape—but for summer? I actually prefer that
• The comfort surprised me… contoured footbed + padding = no break-in needed
Also… your feet will thank you for that extra room when it’s 85° and humid.
They’re already starting to sell out, so if you’ve been influenced… just go ahead and be influenced.

Tall girl spring… but make it realistic 🌷

Because let’s be honest—March isn’t giving full spring yet.

We’re in that in-between phase where it’s winter in the morning, spring by lunch, and randomly summer for an hour… so I’m slowly working spring colors into outfits without fully committing.

Today’s look is built around one of my favorite spring shifts: color + fabric.

I paired a brighter pink sweater (not quite pastel, a little bolder) that I actually grabbed from the men’s section—loving how spring is leaning into that mix of feminine color with more relaxed, unisex fits.

The pants are what sold me though—wide leg, ankle barrel style in a corduroy fabric with a burgundy + hot pink side stripe. Slight athletic feel but still put together, which is always the goal.

Finished it off with a patent Mary Jane—letting my feet breathe after months of boots, but we’re not fully committing to open-toe season yet.

If you’re tall, you already know… transitional dressing is a sport.

These were $50 when I bought them and they’re currently on sale for $39 — which makes them an easy recommendation.
A really solid pair of tall-friendly denim. The denim is thick (not flimsy), the button fly is great, and the fit is slightly relaxed through the hips and legs which is exactly how they’re meant to sit.
For reference:
I’m 6’3” with a 36” inseam, wearing a size 6 (true size).
They fit true to size with a little room through the leg and hip, which keeps them from feeling restrictive.

Typing “tall friendly” into the search bar like it’s a prayer… but this time it actually worked.
A few recent finds from Gap that surprised me:
• Heart embroidered socks that actually fit a size 11 foot (and don’t slide down)
• Dark wash barrel jeans that are legitimately long and hold their shape all day
• A cropped denim trench that I’ll wear more like a jean jacket
The barrel jeans might be some of the best I’ve tried lately — true barrel shape, long inseam, and they broke in perfectly after a few wears.
Nothing groundbreaking. Just three things my wardrobe was missing.
