I’ve seen a few requests in the tall girl groups for taller boots with a lower heel — Tecovas just released a new western style with a 17” shaft and a 1.5” heel. Most western boots have a 14” shaft, so these actually hit higher on longer legs like they’re supposed to. The lower heel is a nice touch, and of course, you still get that Tecovas quality.

I recently grabbed a new fall coat from Old Navy and wanted to share a few tried-and-true spots for outerwear that actually fits: Eddie Bauer, Loft, J.Crew, ASOS, Athleta, Old Navy, Gap, and Simply Tall.
If you’ve ever ordered a “long” coat only for it to hit you mid-thigh... you know the pain. I’m always after good sleeve length, a trench that hits the knee, or a winter coat long enough to survive a Northeast cold front. Basically: socially acceptable sleeping bag energy.
