Hear me out — this oversized utility linen jacket from Banana Republic has a cropped sleeve, and it’s intentional. That detail alone changes everything. I spotted this Banana Republic oversized crop tee and immediately thought she was the one. 100% cotton ✔ contrast stitching ✔️ scoop hem for that vintage tee look ✔️ shape without being a full boxy situation ✔️

I was WRONG. Here’s what you need to know before you order:

👀 The model is listed as wearing an XS and it looked baggy and long on her
👀 I sized up to a medium (my normal size) thinking I’d get that oversized fit
👀 The hem hit right at my hips — very fitted, arm holes were tiny
👀 This is giving baby tee, not oversized crop tee

So she’s going back. BUT — if a fitted vintage cotton tee is what you’re after, this is actually perfect for that.

Sizing breakdown:

✔️ Want oversized — size up several sizes

These Lioness split hem jeans were modeled on someone 5’11” — and they were dragging. I took a chance anyway… and they hit the perfect heel spot on me. I can wear them with flats, sneakers, or a tall boot. 🙌

Here’s everything you need to know:
✔️ 36” inseam friendly (I’d estimate ~34.5–35” inseam based on my fit)
✔️ Actual low rise — like real low rise
✔️ Lightweight with a bit of stretch (they toggle between a jean and a pant)
✔️ Light plaid print — perfect for spring/summer and into fall

Gap knit button-down. I’m 6’3”, almost 40, 36” inseam. I’m a Medium Tall in Gap tops pretty consistently. Got this in a Large and XL — went with the XL. I like things loose, not fitted. If you want fitted, stay true to size. Want it relaxed? Go up two.

The embroidered neckline detail is cute. Buttons all the way down which means you’ve got options — wear it closed, open, one button, under a blazer, over overalls. It’s a simple top but it earns its spot in the rotation.

I saw these wide leg crop jeans on the site and checked out immediately. Do not pass go, do not collect $200, go straight to jail if you don't move as fast as I did. They looked exactly like a pair I'd seen somewhere much more expensive — and Gap just wasn't doing that.
