Our Math, language arts, and Bible study for the day. I LOVE this devotional for my son. It has quality like an adult Bible study and I love it. Comparing verses, thought probing questions.

Our math lesson was outside of the box today. We are learning about money investing, saving, and earning. While some concepts may be bigger than the 1st grade, I believe it is so powerful to start teaching money management early.

Right now we are loving Dinner Table Devotionals because they are suited for the entire family to engage and provide answers. We use our family Bible to look up the scripture quoted. We also love the When Wrong Seems Right devotional book for the older boys!

Our family Bible has been a great addition to read, highlight, and take notes if something in the devotional stood out!

The current things on my morning time list. I love quiet time in the morning before my kids wake up. I don’t ALWAYS get to these books before they get up, but usually God provides the perfect amount of time I need for that day. It’s so incredible when my kids sleep in and He provides an extended time to dwell in his word.

If you need a GREAT book to read, you have to get Family Driven Faith!! It is SO GOOD!!

Morning table time favorites for our homeschool days. We begin our mornings with devotional readings during breakfast time. I find this time of day is the perfect time to read our devotional and discuss together the purpose and meaning of that day’s theme.

The super heroes devotional book is perfect for my 3 year old. Truth from the Bible that is straightforward, to the point and easy for him to apply with something he’s interested in… super heroes.

The dinner table devotional book is AMAZING!! We just added it to our line up this year and I have found every devotional is timely and has great discussion questions my 7 year old can participate in.

Learn how to make elderberry syrup using this Elderberry Syrup Recipe 👇🏻👇🏻

INGREDIENTS
* 4 1/2 cups filtered water
* 1 cup Organic Elderberries
* 2 inches fresh ginger diced
* 2 cinnamon sticks (Or 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon)
* 3-5 cloves
* 1 sliced orange *optional*
* 1/4 - 1/2 cup raw local honey

INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a medium saucepan, combine the water, dried elderberries, cinnamon sticks, clove, and ginger
* Heat on medium heat until the mixture starts to boil. Reduce heat to simmer and cover with a lid.
* Simmer for about 45 min - 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
* Remove from heat and allow it to cool. Pour the syrup through a strainer into a glass bowl. Use the back of a spoon to squeeze any remaining juice out of the berries. Discard the elderberries.
* Pour in to a jar with honey. For sweeter syrup, use 1/2 cup.
