Who says food storage has to be boring? I’ve been slowly swapping our plastic containers for glass, and this set has been such an easy upgrade. The tempered glass feels sturdy, the silicone wrap adds protection, and I love that it comes with five containers, each in a different color, which makes organizing so much easier.

With the winter storm here, I’m extra grateful we installed a wood-burning fireplace. We use it constantly all winter long.

One of the smartest choices we made was adding a gas starter wand. It makes lighting a fire so much easier (and yes… sometimes it takes off faster than expected 😅). If you didn’t incorporate one in your build, fatwood fire starters are a great option too.
