I stepped on the scale this morning and somehow gained four pounds in three weeks… while eating healthy. Because apparently my hormones did not get the memo. 😅

I had them checked, and my estrogen is now at postmenopausal levels. Six months ago, it was dangerously high and contributed to my frozen shoulder, so I had to come off estrogen completely.

The hormonal roller coaster of midlife is real and frankly, I would like to get off this ride now.

But here’s the one positive: I caught the weight gain early, before four pounds became fourteen.

So I’m paying attention, getting curious, and adjusting without shaming myself.

If you’re doing all the “right” things and your body still feels unpredictable, you are seen. You are not failing. Your body is asking for support, not punishment.

We’re going to figure this out and get through it together. 🤍
