I knew my toddler would love this — so naturally, I turned our play couch into an ice cream shop and bakery.🍦🍩🍰🥨 Complete with a drive-thru window, afternoon tea (and coffee) and a full dessert menu 🍦🧁☕️ Pediatric PT brain strikes again 😅 But really — setups like this can sneak in so many motor skills: 🧗‍♀️ climbing in and out of the “shop” for heavy work 🧍‍♀️ squat to stand while serving 🤏 fine motor skills with scooping, pouring, and stacking 💬 and all the pretend play language that comes with “taking orders” and “running a shop” And yes, I’ll be back tomorrow between 4 and 6 for coffee.
