When deciding on purchasing a trend lead piece consider these things:
1. Can I style this new item with more than three items in my existing wardrobe?
2. Is this color wearable long term?

For example: I chose this leather jacket because: the color wasn’t a harsh black but a deep brown which will go with my entire wardrobe for years to come. It’s functional beyond its trending appearance and there is no hardware that will date the piece and will go withALL of my capsule wardrobe!
