One of the easiest ways to change the feel of your home has nothing to do with paint or decor, it’s your light bulbs. 💡 I recommend using warm light bulbs (2700K–3000K) in most areas of your home. They create a softer, cozier, more inviting space. I personally avoid daylight bulbs (5000K–6000K) inside the home because they can make a room feel harsh and overly bright, especially in living rooms and bedrooms. A few more tips: • Choose 60W equivalent LED bulbs for lamps and most table or floor lighting. • Use 75W equivalent if you need a little more brightness in larger spaces. • Reserve 100W equivalent bulbs for areas where you truly need task lighting, like a laundry room, garage, or workshop. The goal isn’t to make your home brighter, it’s to make it feel better and cozier. And choosing the right warm light bulb is one of the easiest upgrades you can make. These are my go to light bulbs.
