[AD] As a fat, black, queer, femme/woman brand owner is so important for me to hire and uplift people who look like me. As a small business that looks like hiring myself and I think I did a fantastic job 😂. This first launch means the world to me, the people who were behind the scenes to help me get here, and everyone it will impacts in the future. It’s more than just skincare, fragrance, or body care. It’s ritual, it’s memory, it’s scent, it’s storytelling, it’s art, it’s creativity, and it’s even about the ever changing neighborhoods we live in constantly changing before our eyes and feeling joy and a little bit of sadness when our favorite shops close.
