Denim Shorts Recs: 5’9’, 175lbs, Curvy, Athletic Body Type👇🏻 I have always found denim shorts to be HARD to shop for… anyone else? Here is what I look for when finding a good pair of shorts: • High waisted • Covers my curves when I bend over • COMFY • Minimal wedgies • Minimal thigh gobble • Minimal thigh gobble • No back gap standing or sitting Note: NONE of this is spon. My regular sizing: 29-31, 8-10 or large-XL After trying at least 20 pairs over the last few years… here are my favorites & sizing: Pair 1️⃣: Danni Short by @freepeople Fit: • Technically, on the model & description, these shorts are supposed to be an oversized fit BUT… I sized WAY down and they make an incredibly flattering, comfy short. I couldn’t recommend this pair enough. They do have some stretch to them, but after I put them in the drier they go back to normal for a lot of wears! They have 7 different washes! Sizing: • I am normally a Large/8/10 BUT I got a SMALL (whoa) and they fit PERFECTLY. Note: they are very very well made. I have worth them for 6 months and they are still in perfect condition. Pair 2️⃣: Curve Love High Rise 90s Cutoff Short by @abercrombie Fit: • From a company that scarred me as a teen growing up, they are really making up for it with their Curve Love Line. I feel SO confident in these shorts and love how many different options they have! Size: • fluctuate between 29-31. I recommend buying a few and returning. While I LOVE their curve love line, I do find their sizing to be a bit different depending on style.
