When I don’t have a lot of time, I go back to the two things that always pull a look together:
volume in the hair and the right gloss.

Here, I curled the back sections forward to create lift at the crown and draw the shape in — curling front pieces still away from my face. It gives structure and intention to the whole style. It’s a subtle move, but it makes a big impact.

Makeup Tutorial- Why eyes first?
Prevents smudging & fallout when doing a heavier look!

Smokey eye is all about layering just a heads up :)

1️⃣ Prime lids w/ @tartecosmetics Concealer (𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑑𝑒:22𝑁), blend w/ damp beauty blender.
2️⃣ Tightline w/ black eyeliner pencil (lift lash & apply at base) @lorealparis 𝐼𝑛𝑓𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑏𝑙𝑒
3️⃣ Apply 𝑏𝑟𝑜𝑤𝑛 liner @lorealparis – don’t stress about perfection, we’ll smudge it!
4️⃣ Smudge liner using bottom end of liner/smudger.
5️⃣ Line w/ liquid liner close to lashes.
6️⃣ Deepen w/ black eyeshadow, following liner & blending upwards.
7️⃣ Blend dark brown shadow into crease.
8️⃣ Use clean brush to diffuse shadow in small circular motions above crease.
9️⃣ Apply deeper shade at lower lid w/ a dense brush.
🔟 Tap gold-reflect shadow on base of lid for dimension.
1️⃣1️⃣ Curl lashes (a MUST!).
1️⃣2️⃣ Re-tightline lash line w/ black liner.
1️⃣3️⃣ Gel liner – create a sharp line at lash base w/ short strokes before longer ones.
1️⃣4️⃣ Mascara routine: Primer → 1st coat → 2nd coat.
1️⃣5️⃣ Brows – define arch & tail, fill in front w/ hair strokes if needed.
1️⃣6️⃣ False lashes – Cut in half & place on outer corners.
1️⃣7️⃣ Blend falsies & real lashes – Reapply liner over false lashes + final mascara coat to fuse them.
1️⃣8️⃣ CLEAN under eyes before moving to face makeup!
1️⃣9️⃣ Lower lash line:
✨ Apply black liner to waterline.
✨ Smudge dark brown shadow over liner.
✨ Mascara on bottom lashes.
2️⃣0️⃣ Final touches:
✨ Brow bone highlight (keep it classy – not too low!).
✨ Inner corner highlight for brightness.
✨ Soft dusting of bronzer on center of lids.
