Charleston Wine + Food Festival recap 🍷

So many incredible bites and such a fun day exploring some of Charleston’s best restaurants and chefs!

We went to the Culinary Village both Saturday and Sunday and the weather could not have been more perfect. If you’ve never been, it’s basically unlimited tastings of incredible food - everything from seafood and savory bites to desserts, cocktails, and wine. It’s the best way to spend a spring weekend in Charleston.

Saturday was the ultimate girls day with friends and Sunday we went VIP with David, and WOW… VIP is absolutely the way to do it. You get early access to the event plus a private indoor lounge with even more food, wine, and cocktails. With the warm weather this year, having the air conditioned space was such a nice bonus.

This was our 4th or 5th year attending and it truly never gets old. Our friends even plan trips to Charleston around it every year!

📅 If you’re local or planning a visit, mark your calendars for next year: March 3–7.
And keep an eye out because tickets usually go on sale in the fall!

This is your sign to have your friends over for dinner and mahjong! I first had to get my nails done then I went to Two Cumberland which is a boutique here in Charleston to get a baby gift for a friend!
We’re having friends over for a spaghetti dinner, drinks and we're playing slash learning how to play mahjong.
A few of us took a mahjong class last year and tonight we’re teaching another friend how to play!

I love playing but I have a hard time starting the game - there's a lot of steps to get started but luckily David is a pro! If you’re in Charleston and want to learn how to play, we took classes from Mahj on the marsh in Mt pleasant! They do such a great job teaching! I’ve been decorating our house for spring and love the way it’s turned out - so much of our home decor is from Amazon! I also adore these floral pants. I put together the salad and spaghetti. Our friends made drinks which were so yummy. Plus they brought over Ina Garten’s chocolate pie and vanilla ice cream - it was SO good! We ended up chatting so much that we got about 3 or four rounds in and I did win one round! I really want to start hosting mahjong night once a month!
