I love when my kids don’t participate in photos, said no mama ever… BUT, here are the outfits and the details I love. Cable sweaters and plaid skirts paired with some chunky boots make my heart sing. The suit worn by my son is also one of my favorite things he wears. He looks sharp and crisp. This Sunday morning we decided on a breakfast joint my own mother and I loved to go to. Her heavenly birthday was a little over a year ago and there isn’t a day that goes by where I am not thinking of her. Lately I just haven’t been in the “Let’s deck the halls with fancy clothing,” and have leaned more towards a relaxed fit.

I do however want to still look like effort was made. Easily an oversized button up adds a little spice under a graphic sweater.

These last two crewnecks are oversized, thick, and exactly what I’m looking for. Just add a simple hoop and my hair thrown up in a bun… I’m ready for the day/event.

When I purchase this coat it was on sale towards the end of the winter season (beginning of 2023) and I haven’t found anything close to the quality.

I have this baby tee jersey top in three colors. Originally I only bought one and my husband kept giving me compliments so I bought two more. It’s such a beautiful refresh to my closet. V Shaped Tee Shirts are, in my opinion, the most flattering.
I ordered an XS - Men’s from Vitality.

I ordered a few for myself after buying my husband a whole drawer full. They’re his favorite and they also wear beautifully, as they’re not boxy or cheap looking.

I didn’t have time to take my makeup off and workout, so I rushed to my basement, did a 45 minute workout and to my surprise, my makeup pretty much stayed put.

I swear by a few things here… My mascara mix and my eyeliner.

TIP : Waterproof mascara first and last.

The foundation is new and I think it’s my favorite 🤍 So far I’ve really fallen in love with the light weight look

I’m just leaving this here for my husband.

My house stays pretty cool throughout the year because I would rather have a chill home and cover, than a home that feels like I’m suffocating.

I had a heated blanket that was well loved and often used. Unfortunately the cord has broken due to rough handling…. But most likely my dog did something to it. But originally when I was gifted this blanket, it was a well loved one I need gifted again from the husband (but I possibly will just buy myself the gift instead so that I have two gifts) 🤣

This locket is one of my most treasured items I own. Right after my mom passed, the first holiday we faced was Christmas and a week later, it was my birthday.

When my dad asked me what I wanted, I wanted something that I can hold onto, that resembled a piece of my mother’s love.

The closest thing I found was a locket. I hold two photos inside, of her on her wedding day and of her and I on my wedding day.

Lately my skin has been going through hoops to stay healthy because of the indecisive weather. Nice one day. Really poor the next.

In other words it’s drying out my skin worse than my skin type already accomplishes all on it’s own.

The newest product is from Glossier and even though it’s only been two weeks, I’ve noticed a HUGE difference. I highly recommend it.

The in between stages of winter not done making its debut and summer not available for her appearances yet.

Basically it’s cold, but you don’t need your Eskimo jacket anymore.

North Face kept my kids dry during this on and off gloomy day. They love playing in the rain and it’s important that they get to do that in something warm.

They’re in between sizes so I sized up, crossing my fingers that theses jackets fit for the fall season as well.

I can not tell you how much of a mess my kids make every single night over a tube of toothpaste 😩

It should also be mentioned that WITHOUT FAIL, once it’s open, the cap is lost forever. Never to be seen again.

As you can imagine, it’s frustrating.

Now I have everything our family needs to keep things tidy for four days until the bathroom goes through it’s weekly deep clean.

Nothing feels better than a freshly cleaned BUT ORGANIZED kitchen drawer.

It all started because the expensive silverware I received 10 years ago from my wedding were slowly but surely disappearing into nearly nothing. It was so frustrating to have to hand wash a fork or a spoon because they grew legs and walked off.

Raising kids does that sometimes…

Since I have two kids that aren’t even teens yet, I decided to go the cheaper route for now. Once they’re nearly adults or moved out I can lavish again in my finer silverware and get the quality/weight I crave.

I found nostalgic classics as a comfort. These ones from Target brought me back to my childhood home.

The measuring cups I have here in the video are from Crate and Barrel and are no longer available, but I listed some space savers for those who like to save on space and aesthetics
