This one’s a family favorite and perfect for busy weeknights. We double the recipe with two bags of cheese tortellini, 1 lb of sweet Italian sausage, and 2 lbs of ground beef. I mix marinara and Alfredo together for a quick vodka-style sauce and set it aside. Boil the pasta, then layer meat sauce, pasta, and cheese twice. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes. We serve it with Caesar salad and garlic bread — the boys love it, and there are always leftovers for lunch the next day. If we can get two meals out of one, it’s a keeper in our house.
