Merry Christmas, Friends ❤️ Hope you had the most amazing day with loved ones. I was so emotional all day watching Kensington and Preston’s excitement for Santa and opening gifts. Inhale caffeine, exhale negativity
The thought of Monday used to always bring negative thoughts to mind, but now I’ve changed my perspective and like that its a fresh start. When Sunday night rolls around I like to get my week planned out. A weekly game plan and to do list really helps with my anxiety, but obviously things never go perfectly as planned. Most nights i look at my list and realize i didn’t accomplish much, but I’m learning that I have to plan for some interruptions and I’m trying to not allow interruptions to take me off course.

What are some things that help you have a productive week and stay on track?

When your bestie comes to Colorado you obviously have to have a little photo op 💗 Had the best time in Vail with this beauty. The kids came with and slept the entire way in the car ( say what?!?) Nate and I actually got to have a conversation without being interrupted every two seconds with “ Mom, Mom, Mom....” “ Are we there yet?” “ Mom, I need more snacks”. I mean, I know I’m popular and all, but a little peace and quiet never hurt anyone. Total win 👏🏻

Motherhood- Its not all rainbows and sunshine. It’s brutal, tiring, tough, exhausting and takes everything out of you. Yet at the end of the day when you’re at your wits end and want to hide and cry, you look at your babes sweet face and hear “ mommy, I love you” or “you’re my best friend” and your heart is so full and nothing else matters in the world 💗 You forget all the craziness from the day and want to do it all over again.
