Had to make a stop in Reims and Épernay. Even the train ride from Reims to Épernay was amazing. I stayed at @lacasernechanzy and it was amazing- highly recommend. The room looked right out over the Cathedral of Notre-Dame of Reims and the staff was second to none. And I hadn’t been to @ruinart since they finished their renovation, so of course I had to pop over for a visit- and for a glass of my favorite champagne, their Blanc Singulier 2017. Wish I could get it here, but it’s probably best for my wallet that I can only find it in Reims.
