we went straight from a full sized crib (instead of a bassinet) right from the hospital. the early days were hard, but it was intentional. we wanted the crib to become his safe place. the outcome? a baby who LOVES his crib and smiles every time we put him down for a nap, and especially bedtime. he loves it so much that a travel crib just wasn’t cutting it for the summer of travel we’re having and we didnt want to risk disrupting the sleep routine hes in. so we went with the @halosleep Full Size Breathable Mesh Crib, which is all convertible for when he gets older and we spend summers with family in NJ. we did a modified version of typical sleep training programs around 5 months, combining elements that we felt most comfortable with. 2-3 naps a day and almost 12 hours of sleep at night, for a rested baby. of course there are days and nights where this doesn’t always happen, but for the most part we have a consistent routine around here! babysleep sleeptraining HALOSLEEP LTKBaby LTKFamily
