Most days, my alarm goes off before the sun comes up, and I spend those quiet hours reading, moving my body, and setting the tone for the day. My 5–9 doesn’t always go as planned—Sometimes I snooze or sleep in a little too much, but either way, it’s about giving myself space to breathe before the world asks for my energy.

And truthfully, adjusting my mornings has made my 9–5 so much lighter.

As I sat at the red light today, a memory came to mind and suddenly, I was overcome with grief and pain. In that moment, I was reliving the hurt—the things I wish I had changed, the things I wish I had controlled better. Grief has a way of showing up at the most unexpected times, reminding us of both our pain and our resilience.

Looking back, I realize I’m still actively grieving, yet I’m also thankful I’m no longer in that place. Two truths can exist at once: I can be grateful for where I’m going, while still mourning where I thought I would be.

That’s when I had to shift my focus to a new memory—a space filled with joy, love, peace, and patience—because that’s what I needed before, but wasn’t available.

Now what you see…..I’m not just existing, I’m LIVING—truly and actively focused on making every single day worth it. Doing and becoming who I truly desire to be, and walking daily as the woman God created me to be.

This is the journey. 🙏🏽
