I unexpectedly was able to retire early this summer due to restructuring in my school system. While it was quite a shock & not an easy decision to make, it was a timely opportunity for me and my family. It didn’t feel celebratory though. But yesterday? Family and friends came together to celebrate me! Fifteen years as a classroom teacher, twelve years as an educational technologist, twenty-seven years as a trusted friend and educator. I chose one of my very favorite dresses for the occasion. This print brings me joy! I love the youthful silhouette and it is the epitome of comfort. Lined, pockets, slightly oversized.
