My two seniors are *loving* this addition to their food. And while I’m currently making their food, we would totally use this on their kibble. Great for digestion for dogs & cats, but also great for picky eaters or enticing those who aren’t feeling well & refusing food.

Hard plastic cones are not breathable, stressful when accidentally impacting hard surfaces like door frames, walls, and furniture. Soft inflatable collars do not protect reaching some wounds. And with 2 weeks of protection needed, we chose this soft e-collar for our sweet senior. We ordered the XL for our golden.

Our sweet thirteen year old had surgery on his eyelid and needs two weeks of recovery time. While his veterinarian’s hard e-collar is very much in use, we are letting him rest on his inflatable collar when we are with him. We’ve had this one for years and it’s held up very well (other than some golden fur). We have the size large. Pawsitive thoughts for our sweet boy’s healing are appreciated. 🐾💛

Personal post: I unexpectedly was offered an early retirement this summer due to restructuring in my agency. For many reasons, I chose to accept it and that is how I landed at LTK.

I began content creation on a wider public scale in August. Back to school season & I was not going back for the first time in 27 years. So I decided to learn something new by creating on TikTok. Which led to being eligible for TikTok Shop, then accepted as an Amazon affiliate, and then being accepted as an LTK creator.

Calia’s Cloud Cover color is a beautiful creamy neutral. I’m a 5’8 woman over 50 and while I don’t mind short running shorts, for more casual out and about, I want a length I can feel covered in. These do just that!

Perfect early fall weather in North Carolina for Market Sunday! One of the hardest decisions is what bouquet to choose! Perhaps my top influenced the decision. Black Quince lines pants, 30”, are an easy choice.

We found our vase at a consignment store. Another easy decision since we have glasses and a decanter from the same line (wedding gifts from 1999!)

I didn’t start drinking coffee until I was in my 30s. I was teaching, in grad school, selling a house, planning a new build, raising children with vastly different needs (balancing a competitive dancer and a child with OT, PT, SLP appointments), a sick senior pup, and a husband who worked 24 hour shifts.

Now I can’t imagine going a day without it! Life is calmer but there is something so comforting about a cup of coffee. And here are the products we use for a fresh cup every day! We rotate between drip, French press, and our favorite - the percolator! Plus beans from our favorite coffee shop. Purpose in every cup.

We’ve started making our own dog food after a health scare with one of our senior goldens. And I’ve got to say, our mixer has been a trooper! We don’t do a lot of baking at our house, but love this bad boy (called Bob at our house) for all the other kinds of mixing & shredding he does.

Our dogs are loving meal time & meal prep time knowing they are also getting their home cooked meals!

You don’t have to get a KitchenAid but ours has certainly stood the test of time!
