I'm here with shirt dresses with specs nearly identical to Polo, but about half or a third of the price, plus great button ups: under $100, with details that Polo doesn't have, or a silk blend that's dressy from COS. Françoise Hardy's style is in her proportions. The jeans have a natural, fitted waist and ease through the leg, so I found the trouser jeans to give that silhouette. Crinkled patent leather exposes two glaring problems: an uneven texture where the toe reinforcement stretches the leather flat, and a visible reinforcement ridge that soft patent only makes worse.
