Just got home from winter break, here are 5 items that made traveling and sleeping away from home more enjoyable.

Discovered the nifty folding lamp only because my touch lamp from 4 years ago died and I like having a softer light next to the bed. Nothing worse than having to turn the big light on because you have to make your way to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

I love a good sleep mask, especially if I’m visiting a city with lots of light pollution and I very much prefer to sleep in complete darkness. Also the sleep time option on audio books is my favorite.

Wet bags are a packing essential. I don’t love my worn socks and unmentionables touching anything else! They are great for swim lessons and pool days, no need to worry about water leaking everywhere.

Sorry if it’s TMI, but no more 🚽 issues as long as I’m good about taking @lovewellness Sparkle Fiber. I’ve been loving their probiotics too.

Can not wash my face with my hair hanging loose, just can’t do it. Not the cutest look but it’s the best!!!

I’ve gotten a lot of sizing questions on these Quince gingham linen shorts. For reference I am 5’4” and around 125 pounds, my typical shorts/pants size is a Small/4/27. I am pretty soft around my midsection and hate to feel restricted. The high waisted pair run a bit bigger in comparison to the regular drawstring. Pretty sure I could have sized down in both but I prefer a looser fit in casual shorts like these 100% linen shorts. I don’t anticipate much shrinkage because I wash on cold and hang dry my linen pieces. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

Sizing: I’m wearing a size 2. I usually wear a 4 in skirts at most brands. I am 5’4” around 128 pounds.

Did I find the perfect skirt for spring? Navy gingham, tiny nautical embroidery, lightweight cotton, and POCKETS!

The possibilities are endless with this skirt. I can see myself wearing this with a linen button down, oversized cotton sweater, a denim shirt, oversized graphic tee, simple white tank with sweater over shoulders. Paired it here with a navy sweater vest and red jelly flats! I may need to do a styling video because this skirt goes with so much.

Tried on a whole lot of budget friendly (under $50) pieces from Walmart and Target that would work for elevated vacation, or a spring event at home. Several of the shoes are on sale currently (as of 5/8) and I love how these feel fresh and current without looking like you are trying to dress like your teenage daughter.

Love how my two “investment” basket bags look great with everything - I will splurge on a versatile handbag every time.
