Cartagena is already incredibly colorful, and that actually makes it easier to dress for. Instead of competing with the surroundings, I like to pull colors from them.

For this look, I chose crochet because it feels perfect for the Caribbean and works well in the heat. And something I’ve learned from shooting in colorful places: color photographs really well against color. You don’t always need to wear white or neutrals for a beautiful vacation photo.

My little Cartagena formula: breathable fabrics + color + comfortable shoes + one good accessory.

Cute outfit for an early dinner. I went with white shorts, a silk top, and a camel belt. This could be a nighttime look if I only change my belt to a different color like black 💕
