Just because your cat loves the sun, doesn’t mean you want it in your eyes while working! I originally had velvet curtains in here and while they’re beautiful, keeping them closed made the room way too dark. This window is the only window with panes and an arched top, so I did not want to completely cover its beauty. Adding sheers to the center softens the light while keeping the view open. And by keeping the velvet curtains, we still have the option for privacy when needed. The best of both worlds!!!
