It’s been a month since my son broke our TV, and I’m happy to say he did it at the perfect time 😂 During the summer break, my kids watched A LOT of TV, and they kind of got hooked to it. So either way, we were already planning on cutting screen time. I started gathering activities and tried to make a mix of both entertaining and educational things — Play-Doh, coloring boxes, activity books, puzzles, educational stories, flash cards, etc. I’m not judging anyone. It’s your life, your kids, and you get to do what you want to do. But for me, I’d rather have them fighting over activities and messing up the house than getting hooked and glued to a TV. Is the house loud? Yes. Is the house a mess? Yes. Are they driving me crazy sometimes? Absolutely. 😂 But honestly, I’ll take all of that over them being glued to the TV. So here’s our little activity box — hoping it gives them something fun and educational to reach for when they’re bored instead of automatically asking for the TV. 🤍 Everything is linked in my LTK! 🤍 LTKmomlife LTKKids
