When friends complain decorating is overwhelming, these are the foolproof pieces I tell them to start with. You don’t need a full room makeover you just need a few things that make a space feel finished.

My easiest decorating tips:
• Add flowers or greenery (real or faux)
• Use trays to group items together
• Stack a few books to add height
• Swap in nicer hand towels
• Add a candle or lamp for warmth
• Use big stems in a large vase

These little things make a house feel styled without overthinking everything.
