This is our Ruggable two-piece rug, and I have it on our front porch, which gets a lot of use. I’ve washed it a couple of times now and it’s held up really well and cleans up easily—exactly what I need in a high-traffic spot.

I love that the top layer is washable, especially for entryways and porches. I will say, lining up the top rug with the pad can take a minute, but once it’s down, it stays put and looks great.

Subtlety tieing the spaces together

You know how most faux olive trees look a little… questionable?
This one actually surprised me.

The trunk has real texture, the branches have movement, and the olives and leaves don’t have that shiny plastic look that gives most faux plants away.

Our lounge doesn’t get enough sunlight for real plants to survive here, so this was the perfect way to add height and greenery without worrying about watering or plant care.

It’s 7 feet tall, easy to assemble, and one of the most realistic olive trees I’ve found at a great price point.

Designer tip: place it in a larger decorative planter and fluff the branches a bit and it instantly makes it look even more realistic.

Our powder bath was feeling very safe and very beige, so I decided to take a little design risk and install this fun cheetah wallpaper from @livetteswallpaper
