My name is Yvonne and I love connecting with people soul to soul. My parents came from a village in Kenya, worked very hard and we were able to travel the world. I live each day now with gratitude, always remembering that no matter what challenges I face, there is someone out there who has it worse and that humbles me. I have 3 children & one angel baby whom heaven gained in 2020 during the height of the pandemic. I’m married to Iggy whom I met when pursuing my Masters Degree in Sustainable Development: International Policy & Management in D.C.. We now live in Maryland & our children are American, Kenyan & Nicaraguan with Iggy’s ancestry also linked to Mongolia. I also have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Health: Health Education. Our father showed us the beauty of servant leadership and I love serving people especially through the nonprofit I founded: The PATESI Foundation that alleviates period/menstrual poverty & postpartum poverty around the world.
