Another year around the sun. This past year held both challenges and blessings, losses and gains. I met incredible people, watched the PATESI Foundation grow beyond what I once imagined, and stepped into leadership as the first Chair in a new PTA role at my children’s school after being surprisingly nominated and voted in.
I’ve been doing the quiet, daily work of healing my marriage, creating safe and loving spaces for my children to thrive, and holding tight to the gift of siblings and parents who still make me laugh all the time.
I hold deep gratitude for being a global traveler; for growing up in Egypt, standing before the pyramids, returning to Kenya. exploring Ethiopia, walking the streets of London, and carrying those experiences as quiet teachers that shaped how I see the world and my place in it.
I step into this new year grateful, grounded, and full of positive anticipation for what’s to come
