I never second guessed my size in the way I have recently and I have always fluctuated and loved celebrated myself regardless. But now, in the world of ozempic and mounjaro, there’s a sense of defeat I never carried before. I despise how negative this sounds but the truth is it’s a bummer but it’s also okay, the age old do it the “old fashioned way” doesn’t apply, we’ve all tried. So instead, I’ll follow more people who look like me, I’ll try to take more walks and find balance and I’ll shop shop shop and make sure I can still dress to express my inner self, and I’ll still alwaysgetthecookie and show up in the body I am in, today, and every day.
