I am so late to the game here, but I finally got tubing mascara and I understand the hype. My lashes are the shortest baby lashes to ever exist and these put a fibrous layer quite literally attached to them (but it washes out easily!) This one is a drugstore find and under $10.

In the spirit of fighting overconsumption, there’s something I’ve been doing for the last couple of years that I wanted to share, because it’s genuinely changed the way I shop. I’ve noticed that most of the things I want aren’t expensive, they’re just immediate.
Almost everything on the list is under $20, which is kind of the funniest part. It’s not about the money so much as the pause. The practice of not buying something the second I think of it. Of sleeping on it. Letting the urge pass. Seeing if I still want it later on a different day, in a different mood, in a different algorithm cycle.
