Today I am sharing a space in our home that I have never shared before; the primary bathroom! Several months ago our mirror suddenly detached from the wall & smashed to the ground… shattering every where! 😱Thankfully no one was in the room at the time & no one was injured! This quickly threw me into project “bathroom remodel” a little sooner than we had anticipated. So, I set out determined to make impactful changes to the space while staying on a tight budget. The most impactful finishing touch goes to the gorgeous @tetotehome “Beveled Frame Frontlit & Backlit Mirror.” This mirror truly does it all. I chose the 71” x 30” in the Gold finish. Additional changes I made to the space: ✔️ Full bathroom paint job. I color drenched the space matching the ceiling, doors, and trim to the wall color. This helped pull the eyes up and to keep them moving… which ended up making the smaller space ultimately feel bigger. (I chose a color I had on hand from another space to save on $) ✔️I painted the vanity; changing it from a warm white to a darker earthy tone. I also changed the vanity hardware to an antique brass finish; which pairs absolutely beautifully with the dark paint. ✔️ I added tongue & groove boards to section behind the mirror; adding a nice detail that is accentuated by the @Tetotehome backlit mirror! ✔️ I changed the vanity faucets, added a new light fixture, replaced the light switch covers and the added a new brass towel ring.
