Hot debate- do you do a real tree or a faux tree? I did a real tree for YEARS but the past 5 years I’m 100% team faux and I’ll tell you why - 🌲 I live in SoCal so our real trees turn into firewood three days after they go up and I’m done worrying about this. 🌲 When you do a faux tree you can put it up and take it down whenever! No short window of when this tree has to come down or go up. More flexibility. One less marital fight as we attempt to tie the tree to the car and get it in the house and in the stand. 🌲Although I have a lot of faux greenery in my house, I usually buy something real too for the smell but it’s usually something smaller, cheaper and easier to transport- like a garland, a wreath, and or a smaller real tree.
