Map Making: A Biomes and Political map of The United States✨ Yesterday my daughter finally wrapped up a BIG work for her! Over the last few weeks she painstakingly created a biomes and political map of the United States complete with state names, landforms, and waterways! Using the Montessori puzzle map of the United States, she first assembled the puzzle onto large paper. Next, she traced the shape of each state and re-assembled the puzzle. After that she labeled each state, then drew mountain ranges, other landforms, rivers, and lakes. Finally, she colored her map, paying extra attention to landforms and waterways.
