Stop throwing your berries away! These produce storage containers are the real MVP among the many kitchen goods I’ve tried. They keep our fruits, veggies, and salad lasting so much longer! I literally never have to throw berries away anymore. I have recommended these so many times, but have never really explained exactly how they work so well.

The best part is the fact that you can wash the grapes/etc first and the container is designed to keep your produce stored in the ideal environment. The storage container actually IS a strainer/colander itself (so you could also store straight from the store, then wash as needed, like I do for broccoli). There’s a snap-on tray at the bottom to add water, to help produce items that need it to maintain adequate humidity, and air vents on each end of the box allowing you the option to close off or encourage airflow, again catering to the needs of your produce items.

I love that there is no guess work involved in using these containers. Each container has examples of items you would put inside (leafy greens, peppers, grapes, etc.), as well as exactly how to store them, are printed directly on the lid.

These are clear for keeping everything visible, so the kids are encouraged to help themselves to fresh healthy snacks! Having everything accessible and ready to eat is a game changer, and reduces food waste. These containers are my favorites hands down and will always have a spot on my LTK if you need them.🫐🍓🍇🍒

Back to school season is in full swing! This is how I pack hot lunches for my kids to take to school. It is a great way for me to stretch the buck by turning leftovers into meals my kids get excited for because it feels like a warm hug.

These stainless steel meal containers are full sized, fit to hold a meal large for an adult or 4th grader! I’m much prefer these to the small round soup thermoses because the openings to those containers are so narrow and they don’t hold enough food to keep a first grader full. These large warm lunch containers come with a removable divider in case you want to have two separate components inside your hot lunchbox.

• heat water to boiling, use a hot water kettle to save time
• warm your hot lunch containers with the hot water
• heat food to piping hot (it will cool to a safe warm temperature)
• carefully empty the water and place hot food in your heated container

Caution ⚠️ Be careful when handling hot water. Don’t do this with any containers that are not safe for high temp / boiling 212 degrees. These stainless steel containers are what I trust with hot water and my children’s hot food. ♥️

Shoutout to our favorite produce storage containers! Our strawberries and blueberries stay fresher longer in the refrigerator when stored in these produce containers. Strawberries, blueberries, cherries, grapes, even fresh cut fruits last so much longer in these clear produce organizers. They’re also MVP for keeping our lettuce and vegetables crisp!

Everything stays fresh and stored at in its optimal conditions - with air flow vents that can be closed airtight or left open for air flow depending on the needs of the food you’re storing. Additionally, things that need extra humidity get it via a water tray or otherwise produce stays high and dry in water draining / colander style straining containers.

Choose to wash your produce first and then store (this is what I do with all the fruits so they’re ready for the kids to snack on.
OR
Wash your produce when you’re ready to use the item. I store veggies unwashed, then wash them in the container (that strains off water) wash and use as needed.

You can even store cut produce in these boxes too! The excess juice runs off into the drip tray to keep fruit from getting waterlogged.

The clear containers keep the fresh produce accessible and visible in the refrigerator so my kids eat it all before it goes to waste. This is must have for kitchen organization

Okay this is an old post recycled from last winter but so many mom friends have been asking how I send hot lunches to school. These stainless steel hot meal containers help me send them with a home-cooked meal- my way of sending a warm snuggly hug.

I use hot water (212 degrees /boiling) to warm these stainless steel meal containers and then heat the food to piping hot. Add hot food to the hot container and then the kids will have a meal that is the perfect temperature for lunchtime at school.

BONUS- This is a great way to stretch the budget because you can easily turn their favorite dinner leftovers into lunch or double batch dinner Spaghetti and meatballs and chow mein/rice stir fry are favorites in our family!

Both of my kids like their lunch with a drizzle of this Japanese barbecue sauce, and one even adds hot sauce! Yum!
