The kids love hot lunches, especially when it’s February and it is still cold outside! Being able to send them with a home-cooked meal container is my way of sending a warm snuggly hug. I use hot water to warm these containers and then heat up the food, add hot food to the hot container and then they will have a meal that is the perfect temperature for lunchtime at school. This is a great way to stretch the budget because you can easily turn their favorite dinner leftovers into lunch. Both of my kids like their lunch with a drizzle of this sauce, and one even adds hot sauce! Yum!
