For beginners start with a shade dark. This gives a good natural tan. For a more deep bronze, use the shade extra dark. I use the two hour express, but try to leave it on for most of the day before rinsing off. Be sure to moisturize hands, feet elbows, and knees before application. Apply lightly to the back of the hands and feet.
