✨ MAPLE PECAN SCONES ✨ 🥣 SCONES • 3 cups all-purpose flour • ⅓ cup sugar • 5 teaspoons baking powder • 1 teaspoon salt • 1 cup (2 sticks) cold unsalted butter • ½ cup chopped pecans • 1 large egg • ¾ cup heavy cream 🍁 MAPLE ICING • 1 pound powdered sugar • ¼ cup whole milk • 4 tablespoons melted butter • Splash of strong coffee • Dash of salt • 2 teaspoons maple flavoring or maple extract 👩‍🍳 DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 350°. 2. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. 3. Cut cold butter into flour mixture until crumbly. 4. Stir in pecans. 5. Mix egg and cream together and add to mixture. Stir until just combined. 6. Turn dough onto floured surface and gently form into a ball. 7. Roll into a 10-inch round about ¾-inch thick. 8. Cut into 8 wedges. 9.
