Looking back, I wish I wouldn’t have been so hard on myself. I remember feeling totally surprised that I couldn’t fit in to my pre-baby clothes by 6 weeks. When you think about it, that’s a totally ridiculous expectation…when you just created a human in your body.
I am so glad that people are now starting to show and talk about the reality here on social media. Because when I had my daughter 8 years ago, that was not the case. I had to sign off social media that year bc it felt like everybody had it together…except me. That everybody was enjoying the newborn/postpartum stage…except me. For me that came with time 💫
I also remember finding it super hard to dress my new body…things I felt comfortable in, easy but pulled together, and were also breastfeeding friendly. I definitely didn’t wanna invest much money into a new wardrobe. In my past life i owned a showroom…and I still have a shopping problem 😜 so I thought I’d share some of that here. In my bio is a link to these Amazon looks…..lots of postpartum and nursing friendly clothes 🤍
