Nobody warned us. Nobody sat us down and said “hey, that thing you’re laughing at in your mom’s bathroom cabinet? That’s your future. Start taking notes.” We were out here in the 90s with our Noxzema and our Lip Smackers thinking we had it ALL figured out. SPF? That was for old people. Moisturizer? We had Vaseline and we were fine. Anti-aging cream? We literally used it as a JOKE. We’d put on our mom’s Oil of Olay and do an impression of her and laugh until we cried. 😂 And then somewhere between Y2K and our first laugh line, the joke became the routine. And the routine became a religion. Now I’m out here with a full Korean skincare routine and I will never go back. K-beauty changed everything for me — and my skin has genuinely never looked better than it does right now at 41. FORTY ONE. 💕 The girl who thought makeup wipes counted as skincare is now the girl who double cleanses, layers her essences, and actually understands what her skin needs. We just had to take the long way around to find the good stuff. And the good stuff? Turns out it came from Korea. If you were a 90s kid who grew up raiding your mom’s bathroom and now you’re fully converted to K-beauty — you are so in the right place. This page is for us. The women who figured it out late, do it loud, and share everything we find along the way. Drop a 🙋‍♀️ if “she looks great for her age” hit a little too close to home. I want to know I’m not alone in this. 💕 millennial 90skid growingupinthe90s 40andfabulous womenover40
