#ad Create a simple dorm drop zone with the new Command™ Décor Collection.
Instead of tossing everyday essentials on a desk or bed, designate one spot for the things your student reaches for every day. We used the key rail for keys and an ID lanyard, the hooks for a backpack, purse, and umbrella, the shelf for a phone, wallet, and sunglasses, and the wall planter to add a little greenery.
This setup keeps everyday essentials organized while making the space feel a little more finished. These pieces would also work well in an apartment entryway, bedroom, home office, or mudroom.
One wall. Five products. Endless ways to organize.

Some dorm problems don’t show up until they’ve actually lived in the room for a few days.

No outlet near the bed. Pillows disappearing into that annoying gap. A desk with almost zero storage. Hallway light coming under the door. Wet shoes with nowhere to go.

These are the simple fixes for those little dorm annoyances they suddenly realize they need solved.

#LTKU #LTKHome

That first wave of homesickness can hit hard, and sometimes a little piece of home showing up at their door is exactly what they need.

Fill a care package with their favorite candy, family photos, something cozy and a few things to keep them busy. You can even tuck in handwritten notes or “open when” letters for the days when they really need to hear from you.

Nothing fancy. Just a box that says, “We miss you too.”

#LTKU #LTKHome

These are the things no one remembers until the exact moment they need them.

A mini sewing kit when a button falls off. A can opener when they realize that can definitely does NOT have a pull tab. Ear plugs when the roommate keeps a very different schedule. And a tool kit, first aid kit, chip clips and wrinkle release that suddenly become surprisingly important.

Add these to the “I forgot this” college list before you get the text asking for them!

#LTKU #LTKHome

It’s funny how fast the “we have everything” list turns into the “can you send me this?” list.

These are the little things college kids suddenly realize they need once they’re actually living on their own. A lint roller, umbrella, extra-long charger, portable charger, slippers, stain remover...nothing exciting, but all VERY useful.

Basically, the stuff that didn’t make the original college packing list but somehow ends up being needed anyway.

These are the dorm upgrades they might not think to ask for, but will be VERY happy to have.

A few little additions can make dorm life so much more comfortable once they’re actually living there. Think a better setup for studying in bed, easier charging, a fridge that stays organized, better lighting for those early mornings, and a few smart fixes for the bathroom and desk.

Perfect for that post-move-in shopping list when they suddenly realize what their room is missing.

A hand truck is one of those move-in day tools you’ll be glad you brought. Load it up with boxes, bins, mini fridges, and other heavy items to cut down on trips back and forth to the car. Even better if it folds flat so it’s easy to pack in with everything else.

#LTKU #LTKHome #LTKTravel

Vacuum bags are one of our favorite ways to pack bulky items without taking up half the car. Use them for comforters, pillows, towels, blankets, and clothes to compress everything down and make move-in packing so much easier. These are the ones we recommend for getting more into less space.

A simple way to keep medications and first aid supplies organized in one place. These med boxes make it easy to separate everyday essentials, find what you need quickly, and keep everything contained instead of scattered through drawers and cabinets. Great for home, college apartments, or sending with your student.

#LTKU #LTKHome

The first week of college usually comes with a second shopping list. These are the things students may not think about until they’ve lived in their space for a little while.

A Brita pitcher for cold, filtered water, Loop earplugs for noisy dorm nights, a shower filter to help reduce chlorine, an air purifier sized for the room, and a wireless printer for those late-night print jobs.

A few smart additions that can make everyday dorm life a little easier.
