Some dorm problems don’t show up until they’ve actually lived in the room for a few days.

No outlet near the bed. Pillows disappearing into that annoying gap. A desk with almost zero storage. Hallway light coming under the door. Wet shoes with nowhere to go.

These are the simple fixes for those little dorm annoyances they suddenly realize they need solved.

That first wave of homesickness can hit hard, and sometimes a little piece of home showing up at their door is exactly what they need.

Fill a care package with their favorite candy, family photos, something cozy and a few things to keep them busy. You can even tuck in handwritten notes or “open when” letters for the days when they really need to hear from you.

Nothing fancy. Just a box that says, “We miss you too.”

These are the things no one remembers until the exact moment they need them.

A mini sewing kit when a button falls off. A can opener when they realize that can definitely does NOT have a pull tab. Ear plugs when the roommate keeps a very different schedule. And a tool kit, first aid kit, chip clips and wrinkle release that suddenly become surprisingly important.
