Just a little reminder that a lot of what we see on social media isn’t real. I can totally understand why creators choose to use filters though! Every time I show my bare face without any makeup, people are recommending to me all kind of cosmetic procedures such as an upper bleph or a facelift and they tell me how ugly I am. You have to have thick skin to show yourself without a filter on social media these days, but I still wish more creators would do that, so that people don’t aspire to unachievable goals that aren’t real! Remember that: skin texture, pores, wrinkles- all that is normal stuff. We all have it!!!

It’s so funny! Every time I show my bare face, people tell me I should get all kinds of cosmetic surgeries (upper bleph, face lift) and every time I show my face with a full face of makeup, they are accusing me of having done cosmetics procedures! I don’t even do Botox or fillers! It’s just makeup y’all! 😆

Wow! After my rant yesterday I got another person recommending me to get cosmetic surgery! This time I should get an “eyebrow/forehead lift to bring everything up and to establish symmetry between my eyebrows”. Unbelievable! This is what society or rather social media has taught us? Telling others what kind of cosmetic procedures they need? And why? To be perfect? You are never perfect! If I do an eyebrow/forhead lift- will I be perfect or what other flaw will I discover then that needs work? And what after that? And after that? And for what? So we all look the same? I am not striving perfection. In fact: I am quite happy with my looks! I am born with hooded eyes! I love them! They belong to me and I have no issue with them. If you have a problem with your eyes and want them fixed, you can do it! I don’t care! Everyone can do whatever makes them happy. For me, applying makeup already gives me the confidence I need. Don’t tell others what surgeries they need. In fact, doing that makes you really ugly and no cosmetic surgery in the world can fix that.

💖Step 2: I press a powder puff into the Poreless Power Powder and then with gentle tapping motions I press it onto my under-eyes. Works like a charm!
