This is 49! No Filters, No Botox, No Fillers. Makeup mistakes you should avoid over 40: 1. Too much heavy foundation, instead choose a light BB or CC cream. 2. Too much and too light concealer, instead choose as little as possible- the concealer only being 1-2 shades lighter than your skin-tone. 3. Too much powder, instead only put the tiniest amount where you have puffiness. 4. Too dark eyeliner looks harsh, instead try a medium brown shade eyeshadow with a pencil brush. 5. Shimmery eyeshadow all over the lid looks outdated and aging, instead try to focus on the outer V with a medium brown shade. 6. Mascara on the lower lash-line can drag eyes down, try to use mascara only on the upper lashes to lift them up. 7. Too dark and thin eyebrows look aging, instead try a lighter shader and make them a little more fuller to look more youthful. 8. Too much blush looks unnatural imo (blush can also look very fresh if the overall makeup look is natural- in this case with the shimmery purple eyeshadow and pink lips adding the blush feels like it is too much I think), try a natural looking bronzer instead. 9. Pink lipstick looks outdated imo (hey if you love your pink lippie go for it- this is just my personal opinion), try to overline- just a tad- your lips with a nude lipliner to make them look fuller. 10. Highlighter on the brow bone looks outdated and can enhance fine lines, try to highlight instead the inner tear duct to open up your eyes.
