SELF TANNING ESSENTIALS 😎 These self tanning products + tips will give you a healthier glow all year round! • SCRUB- Exfoliate + shave 24 hours before you plan to tan! • TAKE IT ALL OFF- This includes make up, deodorant, jewelry, + perfume which could get in the way of your tan developing evenly! • TAN TIME- I usually use the Spray Tan Machine with the portable pop up tent, airbrush spray gun, cups, and solution. Make sure to wear a shower cap and feet pads, so your hair and feet don’t get sprayed. Rub barrier cream on your hands, feet, and elbows. I love using the Norvell Venetian solution for a deep, rich natural color. When I don’t airbrush spray tan, I use the Norvell rapid sunless tanning lotion. If you are using self tanner, be sure to use a blending mitt and back applicator to apply it. Go very lightly on dry areas like elbows, knees, hands, + feet. Barrier cream helps keep these areas looking even too! Instead of using spray tan or tanning lotion on your face, try mixing Tan-Luxe drops in with your favorite face moisturizer or serum. I only add a couple drops and do this routine every few days. • DRY- Use a fan, space heater, or hair dryer to dry off. Use the finishing powder if you still feel sticky! • DON'T SWEAT IT- Do not shower or do anything to sweat for 8-12 hours after you tan! If you end up getting a wet spot, gently blot it with a makeup brush instead of rubbing/wiping the spot. • CHILL OUT- Wear loose dark clothes while you wait! • CATCH SOME Zzzs - If you are going to bed before you rinse, use the sleep sac to protect your sheets! • RINSE- Get in, wash the essentials, & get out! Longer, hotter showers will leave you lighter. • MOISTURIZE- I recommend using Norvell lotions daily to darken and extend your tan!
